Definitely, after a 2020 completely unexpected, this tag of "Remote work" in the positions published on employment platforms, is now a plus that many people are not willing to negotiate. Before we saw it very little in the offers, it was given as a "prize" for performance, it was a special situation, or even a negotiation that needed permissions almost even from the CEO for one day a week.

At least for us, this issue is not a headache, but rather a great opportunity for all of us! everyone!

The organization opens the door to remote remote work 100% from day 1. from day 1, can you imagine? Having the possibility of working from wherever we want, wherever life has us at that moment, and wherever we feel comfortable. Of course, it is an arrangement that as we say is "giving and giving", the company opens a door for us, but we must know how to cross it correctly.

We could talk about many of the benefits that remote work gives us, but in this case let's talk about the one that fills the vast majority of us, and that is to have: now we value our time more and we always want to have a balance in our lives where we can be the usual worker with excellent performance but also the person who is a member of a family. of a family.

While it is true that this possibility does not "fit" with everyone, in my case, it brings many benefits, but this in turn entails a huge commitment to ourselves and to the company that supports us so much.

The ability to work remotely allows us to better manage our time, and this ties in perfectly with a topic I want to bring to the table: Getting to know the world. Can you really? By working? Well yes, many companies limit remote work to a single location, but that's not the scenario with us.

Since I have been working in this company I have been able to enjoy REAL remote work, always respecting my work day, fulfilling my responsibilities and maintaining excellent communication with my leaders. I have been able to participate in all the family outings (trips to the beach, a long weekend in the mountains, visiting relatives who live far away, etc.), being in my daughter's extra curricular activities, I have been able to travel out of the country for extended periods, in which vacations do not allow for so many days so I just continue my normal life the days I have to work. It's as simple as that.

When we have a remote job we get used to having a lot of flexibility in our lives, so if we are on the road, we accommodate with the plans for a certain time, when work is over, and we look for more afternoon or evening activities. If there is a specific day plan, we have a very open sense of communication with the leaders and we can ask if we can negotiate a change. For me, that's what life is all about, negotiating and clear communication.

Traveling and working remotely is not easy, maybe we think "it's nice to be away" but it has many sacrifices too, for example, economic issues, we have to adjust to the cost of living in other places that may be favorable in the best of cases or at all higher; sacrifices of time, fatigue, among others. Staying focused during the day can be a great challenge for many, but it is completely achievable if we manage to organize our time and our life.

If you have a remote job that allows you to explore, live different experiences, keep growing professionally and at the same time live the life you want, make a good plan, get organized, communicate with your leaders, and enjoy this great time and although this modality of work has become more popular among large companies nowadays, there are still industries that are still afraid of such a "deliberative" role, so if you currently enjoy this great benefit I invite you to enjoy it and make the most of it!
